Hardaway returns as Michigan clobbers Northwestern

Tim Hardaway and Trey Burke both scored over 20 points as Michigan rolled to a 94-66 win over Northwestern to open Big Ten play.

Burke scored 13 points in the first five minutes of the game, setting the tone for the Wolverines, who improved to 14-0 with the win.

Hardaway, who missed Saturday's win over Central Michigan, took a few minutes to get back in the scoring flow, but ultimately finished the game scoring 21 points while hitting six of eight field goals, including four three pointers.

It was the fourth time this season Hardaway finished with more than 20 points.

Jordan Morgan scored 12 for the Wolverines while hauling in 13 rebounds, including five on the offensive end.

Michigan returns home to face Iowa this Sunday at Crisler Center.
