DETROIT - Add another Red Wings center to the long list of injuries piling up.
Joakim Andersson found out Monday he has a broken foot, suffered in Sunday's 3-0 loss to the New York Rangers.
Henrik Zetterberg, Pavel Datsyuk, Darren Helm and Stephen Weiss are already sidelined.
"It was still hurting in the third period, so this morning, we did an X-ray and a CT scan, and on the CT scan, it showed that it was broken," Andersson told reporters Monday.
The Red Wings forward blocked Rangers defenseman John Moore's shot during a New York power play the second period.
Cory Emmerton was recalled to fill Andersson's spot.
