Red Wings agree to three-year deal with Tomas Tatar

DETROIT - The Red Wings agreed to a three-year deal with forward Tomas Tatar on Monday.

The 23-year old was a restricted free agent.

Last year, Tatar scored 19 goals and 20 assists in his first full season with Detroit. His 39 points ranked sixth on the Red Wings roster during the 2013-14 season.

He had no points in the playoffs.

Tatar was Detroit's second round pick in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
