Laff Tracks in Novi will host the UM-MSU Comedy Pep Rally Friday to raise money for charity

Novi, MI (WXYZ) - Saturday you will get to watch the University of Michigan and Michigan State fight for bragging rights and the traditional Paul Bunyan trophy on WXYZ.

Friday night the rivalry will result in intense competition... and laughs. 

Laff Tracks on Beck in Novi is hosting the U of M - MSU Comedy Pep Rally.

 Comedians representing each team will compete for laughs starting at 8:30 p.m..

7 Action News Reporter Kim Russell will be one of the judges.

The event aims to raise money for a holiday food program that feeds families in Michigan and Windsor through the Kids First Inititative of Pontiac. You can learn more about the charity at kidsfirstinitiative.org.

There will also be a silent auction at 7pm before the show.
