With major renovations underway for Ford Field ahead of the 2017-18 Detroit Lions season, the team announced that Miller Lite is the new official beer partner of the Detroit Lions.

The team also announced the all-new Miller Lite Taproom, a club location on the north side of the stadium. It will be on the fifth level and welcome 200 fans during each home game.
According to the Lions, it will have the feel of a classic Detroit neighborhood bar that features Miller Lite on a rotating basis.
The taproom will also have an open view of the field with seating available first-come-first-serve.
“The Miller Lite Tap Room is one of the more distinct elements of The New Ford Field renovation project,” Detroit Lions Team President Rod Wood said in a release. “Miller Lite is playing an active role in helping us complete this new communal fan experience and making it unique to our stadium. With excellent sightlines and great food and beverage, the Miller Lite Taproom will be an enviable location to watch the Lions at Ford Field.”
With the partnership, the team will serve MillerCoors products throughout the stadium during the Lions and other Ford Field events.
