Local celebrities turn out for a cause near and dear to late Sparky Anderson

NORTHVILLE, Mich. (WXYZ) - The 27th annual CATCH golf outing took place on July 21 at Meadowbrook Country Club in Northville.

Local celebrities, media personalities and sports figures all participated in the event to help raise money for the late Sparky Anderson's charity.

Tiger greats Al Kaline and Frank Tanana were in attendance, along with Oakland University men's basketball coach Greg Kampe and CATCH executive director Jim Hughes. WXYZ's own Tom Leyden, Brad Galli and Vic Faust also took part in the event.

CATCH provides assistance to pediatric patients at Children's Hospital and Henry Ford Hospital.
