Walled Lake Western wins the Meijer Game of the Week

WALLED LAKE, Mich. - Walled Lake Western topped Watterford Kettering, 41-2 in the Meijer High School Game of the Week.

The Walled Lake community raised money to fight cancer in the annual Warriors for Warriors game.

On the first play from scrimmage, Warriors quarterback Kyle Bambard ran for a 53-yard touchdown, giving Walled Lake Western the early lead.

After the Warriors forced an interception on Kettering's first possession, the Captains forced a safety for their only points of the game.

From there, Walled Lake Western took control, as a turnover to start the second half jumpstarted a Malik Green rushing score.

The Warriors ran away with a 41-2 victory.
