Lahser wins Meijer Game of the Week

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich. - A year from now, Bloomfield Hills Lahser and Bloomfield Hills Andover will combine to play for one team.

So for the final time Friday night, the Lahser Knights celebrated homecoming wearing the black and gold.

And they made it count.

After trailing Berkley in the first half, the Knights powered back to win the Meijer High School Game of the Week, 35-19.

Tied 19-19 at halftime, Lahser's defense swarmed Berkley, causing a safety and scoring the next two touchdowns.

Nate Emery scored for the Knights, who are now 5-1. Matt Murphy pounded in a three-yard touchdown to give the Knights the lead for good.
