BIRMINGHAM, Mich. - Michigan has landed its 2015 quarterback.
The Wolverines received a commitment from Brother Rice's Alex Malzone on Monday.
The junior quarterback reportedly turned down offers from Ohio State, Pittsburgh, and a host of other schools. Malzone has been a part of two state championships at Brother Rice.
He tweeted his commitment with an arm-in-arm photo with Michigan head coach Brady Hoke.
Last season, he was 190-for-281, passing for 2782 yards and 25 touchdowns. Malzone is the No. 4 ranked prospect in the state, according to Rivals. He is the 15th ranked quarterback in the nation for the 2015 class.
