Macomb Dakota wins Meijer High School game of the week

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -  The Meijer High School Game of The Week between Macomb Dakota and Chippewa Valley was one to remember.

Macomb Dakota quarterback Richmon Render was greeted with an interception by Chippewa Valley defensive back Alex Marko in the early going, which provided momentum for the Big Reds.

Chippewa Valley quarterback Brendan Rohlfs would take advantage in the second quarter, finding Jerry Taylor in the back of the end zone that gave the Big Reds a 7-0 lead.

However, Macomb Dakota found a way to get the job done down the stretch by fighting off the Big Reds 17-13.

Chippewa Valley was setting its sights on earning win No. 6 to clinch a playoff berth against a Macomb Dakota team that is already playoff bound.
