Warren Mott wins Meijer Game of the Week

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. (WXYZ) - Warren Mott kept their playoff-bound momentum rolling, as they defeated Sterling Heights Stevenson in the Meijer Game of the Week.

In a wet and wild overtime game, Mott held off Stevenson, 26-23.

The Marauders are now 8-1 heading into the playoffs.

Stevenson had a 17-14 lead heading into the fourth quarter, but Mott regained the lead before ending regulation in a tie.

Mott scored first in the game, and led after the first quarter, 7-0. The Marauders maintained their lead at halftime, 14-7.

The two teams played in pink jerseys for "Titans Tackle Cancer," in aid of two local charities. Angels of Hope and the Believe Foundation will receive proceeds from t-shirts, towels, and other items sold throughout the week. 

The money will help the charities in aid of those who are suffering from breast cancer, and those who have defeated it.
