Michigan's Roh and CMU's Wilson picked up as free agents

SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) - According to reports, there are a couple of local free agent pickups in the NFL. Michigan's defensive lineman Craig Roh has reportedly joined the Carolina Panthers, and Central Michigan's wide receiver Cody Wilson is picked up by the Detroit Lions.

Michigan had only two players selected in this weekend's NFL draft, extending the school's recent struggles in producing pro players.

But it took only moments for the Wolverines to send a third player to the NFL.

Roh announced about eight minutes after the draft concluded that he has agreed to join Carolina as a free agent.
