Pistons sign second-round pick Peyton Siva

DETROIT (WXYZ) - The Detroit Pistons have officially signed the final player from their 2013 draft class today after inking Peyton Siva, to a contract.

Siva, the Pistons second-round pick, who was a member of the NCAA Champion Louisville Cardinals last season, posted a picture of himself signing the deal on his Instagram account.

Siva averaged 7.8 points, 6.3 assist and 3.0 steals at point guard during the Pistons Summer League competition in Orlando.

A roster spot was created for Siva once the Pistons acquired guard Brandon Jennings in a trade with the Bucks last week, which sent Brandon Knight, Khris Middleton and Slava Kravtsov to Milwaukee.

Terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed. One more roster spot remains open for Detroit.
