The Los Angeles Clippers are reportedly interested in trading DeAndre Jordan to the Pistons in exchange for Andre Drummond, according to ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

Windhorst said on "The Jump" Wednesday that the Clippers have spoken to the Pistons about the potenial trade.

Both Jordan and Drummond are similar in terms of skillset, but Drummond is five years younger and locked in for longer. Jordan can opt out of his contract and become an unrestricted free agent after the 2017-18 season. Drummond is locked in through 2019-20.

Drummond averaged 13.6 points and 13.8 rebounds per game last season.

Windhorst said the Clippers are shopping Jordan in an effort to make changes that will convince either Chris Paul or Blake Griffin -- both of whom are unrestricted free agents -- to stay in L.A.
