DETROIT (WXYZ) - According to reports, the NFL's offseason calendar for next season is already facing change.
Albert Breer of NFL.com reported Monday that the NFL and NFL Players Association are discussing a deal that would move the 2014 NFL Draft from April to May.
The move is believed to be a one-year trial before a permanent decision is made.
Pushing the NFL draft back a month is reportedly due largely in part to a scheduling conflict.
The Radio City Rockettes Show "The Spring Spectacular" is scheduled to be held in late April, which is when the NFL Draft is commonly held.
"We're actually getting bumped by the Easter Bunny. They're going to have an Easter show. We'll be prepared for that," NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell said last month on "The Rich Eisen Podcast."
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport has reported that May 15 is the target date being considered for the 2014 NFL Draft.
