The Detroit Tigers plan to send a scout to watch Tim Tebow work out for MLB teams, according to The Detroit Free Press.
Tebow -- former NFL quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner -- will hold a workout for MLB teams next Tuesday in Los Angeles.
According to USA Today, Tebow last played baseball in 2004 for his junior high school team.
