Who will the Detroit Lions take in the 2017 NFL Draft?

The Detroit Lions have the 21st pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, which begins Thursday at 8 p.m. in Philadelphia.

For weeks, many experts have been making their picks, trying to guess who Detroit and GM Bob Quinn will take with the pick.

Some of the projected players and their information is below.

Defense

Jarrad Davis, Linebacker, Florida

Davis, a senior at Florida, is 6-feet-1 weighing 238 pounds. He missed three games this season due to a leg injury but was still second-team All-SEC.

He had 60 tackles, 29 solo and 31 assisted, in the nine games with six tackles for loss and two sacks. 

In 14 games in 2015, he had 94 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks.

Haason Reddick, Linebacker, Temple

Reddick, a senior at Temple, is 6-feet-1 and weighs 237 pounds. 

He appeared in 14 games for the Owls this season, racking up 65 tackles, 43 of which were solo tackles, plus 22.5 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks.

Marlon Humphrey, Cornerback, Alabama

Humphrey is 6-feet-tall and 197 pounds and earned freshman All-SEC honors during his first season with the Crimson Tide.

He played 14 games for Alabama last season, getting 36 tackles, three tackles for loss, two interceptions, including a touchdown and one forced fumble.

Takkarist McKinley, Defensive Lineman, UCLA

McKinley is a defensive end who is 6-feet-2 and 25 pounds. He ran a 4.59 40-yard dash at the combine and played three seasons for the Bruins.

In 11 games last season, he had 61 tackles, 18 tackles for loss and 10 sacks. He also added three forced bumbles and one fumble recovery.

Taco Charlton, Defensive End, Michigan

Charlton is a big defensive end, 6-feet-6 weighing 277 pounds.

The senior started 11 games for the Wolverines this season, bringing in 40 tackles, 13.5 tackles for lass and 10 sacks.

Offense

David Njoku, Tight End, Miami (FL)

Njoku would join Eric Ebron and would make the Lions use an offense with dual tight ends.

The 6-foot-4 junior from Miami caught 43 passes in 12 games last season for 698 yards and eight touchdowns.

O.J. Howard, Tight End, Alabama

Howard is another big tight end. At 6-feet-6 and 251 pounds, he is one of the biggest in the draft.

The senior from Alabama caught 45 passes for 595 yards and three touchdowns this season for the Crimson tide.

Mike Williams, Wide Receiver, Clemson

At 6-feet-4 and 218 pounds, Williams would join Golden Tate and bolster the Lions' wide receiver core.

He hauled in 98 catches last year for 1,361 yards and 11 touchdowns for the Tigers.
