A native Detroiter, Carolyn Clifford anchors the 6, 7 and 11 p.m. newscasts with Stephen Clark. Carolyn returned home to work at WXYZ TV 7 in 1998 after working at several television stations across the country.
Alicia is co-anchor of Action News This Morning from 4:30 a.m - 7:00 a.m.
JoAnne Purtan is co-anchor of Action News at Noon and 5 p.m., She also brings viewers a nightly consumer feature called "Don't Waste Your Money." JoAnne joined WXYZ in 1998.

Weather
Dave Rexroth was named Chief Meteorologist at WXYZ in August 2010. Every day during the 5 p.m., 6 p.m., 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts, Dave provides the latest weather updates and forecasts for all of southeast Michigan.
It’s the four distinct seasons that lured Keenan Smith away from the tropical weather in sunny Florida to forecast the weather here in Michigan.
Edwards began his career as a weathercaster in the U.S. Air Force. He was one of the first meteorologists with The Weather Channel in Atlanta, before moving on to forecast at WISN-TV in Milwaukee.
Hally joins Channel 7 from WZZM 13, the ABC affiliate in Grand Rapids, where she recently served as the weekday morning and noon meteorologist for 7 years. Born and raised in Ohio, near Lake Erie, Hally is no stranger to the frequently changing weather in the Great Lakes.

Ed Fernandez is a Michigan native with a distinguished career as a broadcast executive. He rose through the ranks at stations in Grand Rapids and, most recently, served as president and general manager of WSNS Telemundo in Chicago.
Mike Murri was named Channel 7’s Station Manager in August 2012.
Stokes joined the station in 1981 and serves as moderator and producer of "Spotlight On The News," Detroit's longest-running weekly news and public affairs show.
Faces from the Past
After more than 38 years interviewing sports celebrities and covering every major sporting event from the Super Bowl to the NBA finals, 7 Action News Sports Director Don Shane retired from WXYZ in March of 2012.
The anchor of Channel 7 Action News at Noon and Action News at 5PM, Robbie Timmons has carved out a distinguished niche for herself in the world of broadcast journalism.
WXYZ-TV Chief Meteorologist, Jerry Hodak, has been forecasting the weather longer than anyone in Detroit television. Hodak began his weather career in Detroit in 1965.
After nearly three decades at WXYZ-TV, reporter Mary Conway announced today that she plans to leave 7 Action News and move to Colorado to be closer to family. Conway is well known in the Detroit area as an expert on the automotive industry.
