Metro Detroit Weather: Chilly start to the week

(WXYZ) -

Winds will steadily decrease overnight as lows tumble into the upper 30s to near 40 degrees.  Monday will be much calmer and drier, but still cool in the 50s.  However, another gradual warming trend is ahead with highs pushing 70 degrees by mid and late week.

NEXT 48 HOURS

Tonight: Clearing and much colder with quickly decreasing winds. Lows: 38-42 / Winds: NW 10-20, then 5-10
 
Monday: More sun than clouds but cool. Highs: 57-61 / Winds: NW 5-15
 
Tuesday: Sunny and a bit warmer with increasing winds. Highs: 63-67 / Winds: SW 10-20
