(WXYZ) - The Michigan State Police have responded to the areas hardest hit during the March tornadoes. They are helping coordinate clean-up efforts and trying to maintain traffic flow in the storm torn areas. Governor Rick Snyder tells Action News that his office is monitoring the situation and will try to deploy state resources to help.
The Governor telling Action News "It is a tragedy what happened. We are only thankful that there was no loss of life or serious injuries." The Governor says that state disaster experts will assess the damage and depending on the scope of the clean-up will ask for help from the federal government.
