More than 120,000 customers across metro Detroit left in the dark by today's storms

(WXYZ) - Today's storms have knocked out power to a large portion of the WXYZ-TV viewing area.

At last check DTE energy said power was out to 120,000 customers and that number was growing. However, DTE did not have a breakdown of which counties were hardest hit.

A look at the DTE outage map shows most of the power outages are north and west of the city of Detroit.
