Tornado warnings cause DTW passengers to take shelter, many tweet photos from below Detroit airport

ROMULUS, Mich. (WXYZ) - Passengers waiting to board planes at Detroit Metropolitan Airport were asked to take shelter Monday afternoon as tornado warnings were issued throughout the area. Many took to Twitter, posting photos as they waited in shelters.

Elsewhere around metro Detroit, photos and tweets showed people taking shelter in grocery stores and shopping malls.
