DETROIT (WXYZ) — Since 1981, Focus: HOPE has opened the door to job opportunities for metro Detroiters through its free career training programs. The non-profit civil and human rights organization is recruiting new students at a Workforce Development and Education Open House on Wednesday, May 8, from 2:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Attendees will learn about training programs for a variety of jobs, such as Hi-Lo/Forklift Operator, CNC Operator, CDL Truck Driver, Logistics, Robotics and Welding Technician, and Production Operator.
