Those interested in antiques, home decor, vintage kitchens, setting stylized dinner tables, mixing cocktails or appreciating fine American-made craftsmanship will want to find their way to Dearborn for the Michigan Depression Glass Society show and sale at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center. Admission is $5.

Taking place Saturday, Nov. 3 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 4 from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., the event offers over 10,000 sq. ft. of colorful, US-made glass produced prior to 1970.

A special exhibit of vintage candlestick holders, hurricane lanterns, fairy lamps, table-, desk- and vanity-lamps, floor lamps, lighters, glass shades and more will be featured, with many similar pieces available for purchase from over two dozen Depression-era glass dealers.

The annual event, now in its 46th year, attracts glass sellers and buyers from across the country, with a reputation of being one of the nation's best attended all-glass shows. American glass makers such as Fostoria, Heisey, Fenton, Cambridge, Imperial, Westmoreland and Paden City, along with well-known companies such as Anchor Hocking, Hazel Atlas, Pyrex and Federal will be represented with an array of colorful glassware for home decor, dining, entertaining and cooking.
