FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. (WXYZ) — "Ripcord," a play about roommates in a retirement home battling it out, is performing at the Farmington Players Barn Theater this month in Farmington Hills.

"Adversarial roommates in a retirement home do battle. Marilyn insists that nothing makes her angry, while Abby says she is never scared. So the odd couple makes an unusual wager: If Abby can make Marilyn lose her temper, Marilyn will move out. But if Marilyn frightens Abby first, then Marilyn gets the bed by the window. The battle of wills escalates into elaborate practical jokes that will keep you guessing and laughing all night long," the description reads.

The show runs Oct. 4, 5, 11, 12, 17, 18, 19 at 8 p.m. and Oct. 6 and 13 at 2 p.m.
