UM-MSU rivalry divides law firm

Farmington Hills, MI (WXYZ) -  We are a state divided. Everywhere you go right now you witness taunting, trash talk, and team spirit.

This as we get ready for rivals Michigan and Michigan State to take each other on Saturday at 3:30p.m . in East Lansing. The game will air on WXYZ .

At the Michigan Auto Law Offices in Farmington Hills, the rivalry brought out the worst and best in co-workers.

"You can afford to be arrogant when you are the best," said UM fan Jeff Bussell, an Associate Attorney at Michigan Auto Law.

"They're not very good sports," said Lenny Koltonow, a Law Partner and MSU fan at Michigan Auto Law of UM fans.

"It gets very intense," said Steven Gursten, a UM fan and President of Michigan Auto Law. "The MSU fans get very annoying."

The lawyers at the Michigan Auto Law Offices in Farmington Hills say they are divided every year: Spartans Versus Wolverines.

And while it brings out harsh smack talk, they use the game to do good.  Next week the losers will have to make a donation to the winners' charity.
