Breanne Palmerini


Breanne Palmerini joined 7 Action News in August 2015. She's an Emmy award winning reporter looking to make an impact in metro Detroit.

Before joining WXYZ, Breanne worked for the Scripps sister station in Tulsa, Oklahoma, KJRH, for seven years.  During her time there she received an Emmy award for her work on a special program spotlighting bullying in Oklahoma. She was also nominated for work behind the anchor desk on the weekend morning newscast.

Breanne has also worked in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at KWWL and in Quincy, Illinois at WGEM. She's covered 500 year floods, EF-5 tornados, blizzards, wildfires, and more. She's interviewed presidential candidates and covered high profile court cases that have garnered national attention.

Breanne is graduate of the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo. She was born in Bayonne, New Jersey.

When she's not at work she enjoys spending time with her her horse, Robby, in Ann Arbor. She also enjoys traveling, reading, running and visiting family and friends scattered across the country.
