Moonlight Masquerade Charity Cruise

Take a breezy boat ride for a good cause. The Community Health Awareness Group will have its 25th Anniversary Moonlight Masquerade Charity Cruise Fundraiser. The cruise will take place Saturday, August 13th at 6:00 p.m. and is available with any purchase of a $100 tax deductible ticket. All proceeds from the cruise will benefit HIV/AIDS prevention and care and substance health services targeted at minorities. The benefit will set sail from Jefferson Beach Marina on 24400 E. Jefferson Ave in St. Clair Shores.

Operation Kid Equip - Stuff the Shelves

Helping kids in need is always a good way to spend your weekend. Operation Kid Equip will host its ‘Stuff the Shelves' events this Saturday August 13th. The event will take place in Troy and service the children of Southeastern Michigan. So bring your supplies, enjoy a Michigan-made snack, and help them literally stuff the shelves of the Teacher's Annex. The event will take place at 1830 Stephenson Hwy, in Suite B.

The 10th Annual Yard Trail Sale will include many communities along South M-25 and M-29 featuring classic collectables and small family dining. Explore your creative side at a Handmade Holiday Fair in Ypsilanti. DIYpsi, pronounced dip-si, is a family friendly art show that will take place on Saturday, August 13th. The fair will be in the Downtown Depot District and feature handcrafted food, drinks and art pieces that are one-of-a-kind. Admission is free and the event will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Shelby Township Art Fair

Keep it artsy with the Shelby Township Art Fair. Held on Shelby Township's municipal grounds, the fair will take place on August 13th and have something for everyone to enjoy. From musical entertainment, art shows, and kids crafting, everyone can get in touch with their colorful side. Entry and parking to the event is free. Shuttle buses to the event are also free. Shelby Township's municipal grounds are located on 24 Mile Rd and Van Dyke.
