If you're looking for Father's Day gifts with Detroit themes, you'll find some great ideas at the Pewabic Pottery show this week. The company based in Detroit will hold its annual House and Garden show June 8-11. Click the video player to hear Pewabic's leader discuss some great gift ideas.
Pewabic will reveal its new creations at the show, including the latest in its Postcards From Detroit series that includes favorite destinations in Detroit. This year's tile commemorates the legendary art deco masterpiece, the Guardian Building.
The event opens to the public June 8th. It will feature Pewabic ware, ceramics made by more than 80 artists from across the country.
You can also enjoy a beer garden, refreshments and entertainment all weekend long. Pewabic is also offering guided tours and live demonstrations.

Friday, June 9, the 27th Pewabic House & Garden Show opens to the public. Visitors can shop Pewabic's newest ceramic designs, enjoy docent-led tours, experience live demonstrations from Pewabic artisans and take part in drop-in workshops. Saturday and Sunday will feature live music and refreshments in Pewabic's courtyard biergarten.
