Tickets are available at the box office:  (248) 644-2075 or online at: http://www.birminghamvillageplayers.com/

The gripping drama, adapted for the stage by Christopher Sergel, tells the story of an innocent black man on trial for the attack of a young white girl. It's told through the eyes of seven-year-old "Scout" Finch (Elena Pfeiffer), and explores her relationship with her father, Atticus Finch (Paul Gillin), the defense attorney who serves as the moral center of the play.

The show's producers say the play "illustrates the evils of racism and the dangerous emotions that result from treating people of color differently.  Ms. Lee vividly shows us that we all have a need to see the world through the perspective of others; only then can we truly understand each other, and consequently treat everyone with love and respect."

The two-act drama runs approximately two and a half hours with one 20 minute intermission.
Show Dates March 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 2016 at 8:00 p.m. and March 6, 13 & 20 at 2:00 p.m.
