(WXYZ) — Spending time with your family and friends is a great way to reconnect and recharge, but with the cold weather you can sometimes feel stuck inside.

We asked our 7 Action News viewers for the best game and entertainment spots for adult for those times when cabin fever strikes, and you want to get out and chill out. It’s our Thursday’s Top 7.

#7 The HUB Stadium (Auburn Hills)

Coming in at number 7 is The Hub Stadium in Auburn Hills. In addition to a modern arcade, The HUB Stadium features axe throwing and fowling, a combination of football and bowling. Chow down a full menu and drink up with two full bars.

#6 TopGolf (Auburn Hills)

Number 6 is TopGolf, also in Auburn Hills. Here, micro-chipped balls track your shot as you compete for distance and accuracy. TopGolf has challenges for newbies and skilled players and all of the hitting bays are climate-controlled.

#5 Drag Queen Brunch in Detroit

Drag Queen Brunch takes the 5th spot. There are two shows for this 18 and over brunch. The shows are described as hysterical and unpredictable.

#4 Ready Player One (Detroit)

If you like classic arcade games, grab your quarters and head to Ready Player One in downtown Detroit. Wayne State University student Chris Arnold says he likes Ready Player One and enjoys old school video games.

”Pac Man. Donkey Kong. You know, they got a nice little bar area down. And you go get a couple of drinks to hang our friends.”

Ready Player One is 4th on our list.

#3 AR Workshop (Multiple Locations)

AR Workshop comes in third. They have multiple locations, including one in Ferndale and there's a whole lot going on. There are classes to teach you how to do it yourself and parties too.

AR workshop provides all of the material, tools and know-how. Browse their project portfolio for ideas for you and your gang. There are seven locations across metro Detroit.

#2 Go Comedy! Improv Theater (Ferndale)

Go Comedy Improv Theater

Just down the street you find a place selling laughs by the barrel. Go Comedy! Improv Theater is our runner-up. Since it’s improv, each show will be different, and the ideas come from the audience. Feeling bold? Sign up for classes, and you could find yourself on stage!

#1 Fowling Warehouse Hamtramck

The Fowling Warehouse in Hamtramck takes the top spot. What’s fowling you ask. Kinda like football and kinda like bowing and definitely a lot of fun. You’re trying to knock over the other person’s pins with a football, and no you don’t have to be a bowler or football player to “fowl” well.

Nathan, a fowler who now works at the Fowling Warehouse says, “They're typically the worst players here, because they think that they know the best. But I mean you can be 10 years old or you can be 90 years old it really doesn't matter. “

Nathan says the best technique is to throw the ball underhanded.

You can fowl in groups or solo. And when you’re not fowling, there are three full bars and a beer garden where you can rest up before your next match.
