Intermittent I-75 closures in Detroit planned for Gordie Howe Bridge construction

DETROIT (WXYZ) — I-75 will have intermittent closures this weekend for the construction of the Gordie Howe International Bridge.

The closures are on Friday, Dec. 13 through Saturday, Dec. 14.

Here's the full list:

  • The Ambassador Bridge ramp to SB I-75 will close 9 p.m. Friday and reopen 9 a.m. Saturday. During the closure, travelers can take WB I-96 to US-12, then back to I-75 Service Drive to SB I-75.
  • Intermittent lane closures on SB I-75 between Vernor Highway and Springwells Street will begin 9 p.m. Friday and end 2 a.m. Saturday.
  • The on-ramp at SB I-75 Service Drive and 24th Street will close from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday.
  • The exit ramp at SB I-75 and Clark Street will close from 2 a.m. to 9 a.m. Saturday.
