SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WXYZ) — If you drive Ten Mile in Southfield between Evergreen and Greenfield, you know it is a bumpy ride. Now crews are getting ready to address it.

Tuesday, the Oakland County Road Commission hosted a public forum to answer questions about its plan.

Come June crews say they will begin to completely remove and replace the sections of failed concrete. Plus, some curbs and gutters will be replaced. Crosswalks and ramps will be upgraded to serve people with disabilities and bus stops will be improved.

Traffic will be maintained throughout the project, with one lane open in each direction.

The $3.2 million project is expected to be completed by the fall.
