On June 26, a Clinton Township couple reported to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office that they had found a potential explosive device.

The device was found while they were cleaning out the Roseville garage that was owned by the female's deceased father.

After transporting the device to the Sheriff's office, The Michigan State Bomb Squad was contacted to dispose of the device. The Bomb Squad stated that the device "could not have been detonated."

No one was injured in this incident.

Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham advises if you come into contact with any type of explosive device, do not attempt to move it, and call the police immediately.
