(WXYZ) - Project Healthy Living is back in metro Detroit offering free or low-cost health screenings in 49 locations this spring.
The project kicks off on March 12 at Macomb Mall in Roseville and runs through May 11 in various locations.
Darliss Wills went to Macomb Mall for health screenings and says she's been going to Project Healthy Living for 15 years.
"I don't have health insurance," says Wills.
She says she doesn't know what she'd do without Project Healthy Living. She calls it a "life saver".
Free services offered include health and weight, vision, blood pressure, and body composition screenings. Some sites will also offer free glaucoma, dental, dermatology, allergy, hearing, podiatry, and EKG tests among others.
Low costs tests like a 26-profile blood panel, cancer and ulcer screenings will also be available.
