69-year old innocent bystander shot in alleged drive-by shooting in Detroit

Two people have been shot outside a Citgo gas station on the 800 block of W. McNichols, on the Detroit's west side.

The shooting occurred at 6:20 p.m. Saturday when occupants of a silver GMC Yukon opened fire on a 23-year-old male.  

He was shot three times and is listed in serious condition.

Police say the second victim is a 69-year-old female who was an innocent bystander.

She was shot in the foot. She is listed in stable condition.

The gas station clerk directed customers to stand behind bulletproof glass until the gunfire stopped.

According to Detroit Police, there may have been a child in the car when the shooting occurred.
