DETROIT (WXYZ) — "I thought I was about to die. I knew it was over," said the woman who feared the man she met on a social networking and dating site was going to shoot and kill her.

The victim, who spoke to 7 Action News on the condition she'd remain anonymous, said she thought the man wanted to learn some of her house rehabbing skills, but instead he allegedly robbed her at gunpoint.

Detroit Police arrested 27-year-old Dominique Moore, and he's now been charged with 12 counts that include Armed Robbery, Unlawful Imprisonment, and Felon in Possession.

Moore was released from prison in 2018 after serving time for First Degree Home Invasion.

The woman said she only invited Moore over to a house she is renovating because he expressed an interest with her skills on flooring.

He left, but then called and said he wanted to come back.

She told him it was getting late, but he persisted. "I should have known because why are you begging me to come back?"

And when Moore returned, she said he asked to use the restroom, then came back downstairs with gloves on and a gun in his hand.

Moore allegedly robbed the woman at gunpoint, took her from the house in his car, and released her a few blocks away.
