Kari Fry's love note to her husband Chris:

My husband, Chris, is the love of my life. We have been married almost 13 years but have known each other much longer than that! We were friends in high school, remained friends after high school and reconnected after his return from 4 years in the US Navy. In 1997 we started dating and I definitely realized how genuine and compassionate a man he is! At the time I had a almost 4 year old son from a previous relationship and Chris treated my son like his own, never wanting to take the place of his own father, but always there for for both of us from day one! Life continued, we moved in together and started our lives as a family. Had a daughter of our own got married and bought a house! Life was great....Chris keeps me grounded, calm, cares for and loves our kids and myself unconditionally and little did we know what 2011 had in store! I never knew how much I truly loved this man until we found out he had Leukemia 2 days after Christmas 2011!! What a nightmare! Chris has battled the disease with many rounds of chemotherapy and received a bone marrow transplant in April of 2012! He has been fighting a hard battle with numerous set backs and needless to say our love, faith and finances have been tested! To this day he is fighting, our entire families and true friends have fought and prayed right along side us! He is the strongest man I know and I know now more than ever our love was meant to be! Thank you for listening to our story.

Robyn sends us this love note:

My name is Robyn, and this is my husband, Jeremy.......I have tried many times to write something flowery and all romantical, but, the truth is very simple and usually the best story. Jeremy and I have known each other since high school, and reconnected at the wedding of a mutual friend. I called him first, just to hang out.....never realizing this man was to be the true love of my life. What started off as a simple friendship grew into something so much more. Jeremy has been a tremendous source of strength, compassion, support and mostly, love. We have have been married for 14 years, and together for nearly 16 years. In that time, we were blessed with an amazing son, who gives us much joy and fills our life with a new level of love, adventure and patience. We have had many amazing adventures, right outside our back door, and we have help each other during time of crisis. I cannot begin to imagine my life without Jeremy by my side. This love story is not over, and will continue to be written through every day, little things. While there are moments of whirlwind romance, the truth is, we demonstrate our love in everyday happenings.....a side glance smile when I say something that he is thinking or reaching for my hand when out for a walk, or sitting together. True love is not a fantasy like in all those Princess movies.....true love, is sharing the good, bad and ugly that life has to offer and facing it all together. It's approaching life with a sense of humor and gratitude. Its understanding that your relationship is so important to you, that you would do anything to protect it. I know that I am a better person for having Jeremy as my husband, and thank him for everything he is. Wishing everyone a very happy Valentine's Day!
