Ford has stormed the North American International Auto Show with a new truck, three new versions of its popular Fusion sedan and a new connected car system it says will do for car owners what iTunes did for music fans.

The automaker kicked things off by introducing the all new F-150 Raptor SuperCrew. Ford says the vehicle "is unique among off-road and performance vehicles, with a purpose-built engine, chassis and suspension that enables it to travel fast over challenging desert landscapes or crawl over rocky terrain."

Next, Ford showed off three new versions of the popular Fusion sedan. The new versions include a hybrid and plug-in hybrid model. Ford calls the new Fusions the "most technologically advanced lineup ever."

The high tech approach extends to Ford's new FordPass technology. Ford calls the system "a platform that re-imagines the relationship between automaker and consumer." It will compete directly with GM's OnStar system.

FordPass officially launches in April. The company says it is free to both Ford owners and non-owners.
