The philosophy of the company is simple... problem, solution.
It all started in 2008 when Annette Ferber saw a problem. Trying to be green, she would bring reusable bags to the store with her, but more often than not, she would forget them in her car. She’ll never forget the day it was pouring rain, she couldn’t find her keys, and she was trying to carry several plastic grocery bags.
“I just looked and said there’s got to be a way, there’s got to be a system,” said Annette Ferber, designer and founderof Annette Ferber Collections.
This mother of four decided to create one herself. It's called the Insulator 3 – which is a three-in-one bag; an insulated bag, a bag for bulk goods, and a shopping bag. She went on QVC in 2009 to showcase the bag where she did $13,000 in sales a minute.
After having such great success with her first bag, she and her team in Commerce have designed dozens of styles since.
Annette designs bags, but not just any type of bag. Her Sacs collection focuses on convenience, fashion, and function.
“I design and create really functional bags, travel bags, everyday bags in order to make life easier for everyone,” said Annette.
Her bags range from The Ultimate Traveler which starts small and compact but transforms into a big tote to the Signature Metro Bag which has an insulated pocket for hot and cold drinks, hidden pockets to keep your belongings safe, and also a pocket with slits to hold credit cards that is RFID protected.
