Entenmann's brownies and muffins recalled over concerns of plastic in the product

Bimbo Bakeries USA, Inc. is voluntarily recalling a number of Entenmann's products because they may contain small pieces of plastic caused by a manufacturing failure at their Illinois bakery.

The recall applies to the Entenmann's Little Bites Fudge Brownies 5 packs with a Best By Date of October 8, 2016 and a UPC Code of 7203001342, Entenmann's Little Bites Chocolate Chip Muffin 5 packs with a Best By Date of October 8, 2016 and a UPC Code of 7203001353, Entenmann's Little Bites Chocolate Chip Muffins 10 pack with a Best By Date of October 8, 2016 and a UPC Code of 7203002111 and the Entenmann's Little Bites Variety 20 pack containing Fudge Brownies, Chocolate Chip Muffins and Blueberry Muffins with a Best By Date of September 24, 2016 and a UPC Code of 7203001799.

In all cases the code number 3098 is printed by the Best By Date on the outside of the box.

The products were sent to stores over the last two weeks. One injury has been reported and the products have been removed from store shelves.

Customers who bought the product should dispose of it or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
