Amazon is hiring 120,000 workers for the holidays in 27 states including here in Michigan. Amazon jobs are available in the Detroit area in Brownstown Twp.
The jobs are at customer service and fullfiillment centers. Amazon says last year more than 14,000 seasonal positions became permanent, and that move could continue this year.
Seasonal positions are being offered in the following states: Michigan, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
