$10K reward offered for identifying man in Ferndale bank robbery

Huntington Bank is offering a $10,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of a man involved in a bank robbery at its Ferndale location.

On June 25, a man walked into the Huntington Bank at Nine Mile Road, displayed a black semi-automatic handgun and directed the teller to give him the money from the drawer.

The teller complied and the suspect ran away through the back door. Nobody was injured in the incident.

Police describe the suspect as a white man, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall weighing 170 pounds. He was wearing a Federal Premium Ammunition baseball hat with a black front panel, dark sunglasses, a white medical mask, black jacket, blue jeans and brown shoes.
