One of Steven Spielberg's most iconic movies is heading back to the big screen for its 25th anniversary.

"Jurassic Park" will play in more than 500 U.S. theaters on Sept. 16, 18 and 19.

The movie will also be accompanied by a 17-minute fan-made "remake" of the film.

Three theaters in the metro Detroit area will be screening the movie: AMC Forum 30 in Sterling Heights, AMC Livonia 20 and Emagine Rochester Hills.
