DETROIT (WXYZ) — Police say one man is dead and another person, whose gender has not yet been released, was injured in a double shooting that took place on Detroit's east side early Sunday morning.
The shooting happened at 2 a.m. in the 11200 block of Morang Ave.
According to limited preliminary information, police say there was an exchange of gunfire in the area and the two victims were hit. The victims were transported to a local hospital where one died. The second victim was taken into surgery. The status of that victim has not yet been released.
