DETROIT (WXYZ) — Police are investigating a double shooting that happened early Saturday morning on I-94.
Around 4:20 a.m., police were dispatched to the east I-94 and Connor for a shooting. At the location, officers observed a black Ford Edge that crashed over the side of the ramp on the eastbound side of I-94 at Connor.
Police say one male inside the Ford Edge was fatally shot. The second victim, a 25-year-old male, had sustained a gunshot wound to the head and was taken to a hospital by medics. He was listed in critical condition, according to police.
No further details have been released at this time.
The investigation is ongoing, police say.
