A deadly accident has shut down part of 8 Mile and Groesbeck Wednesday morning.
Police say the fatal hit-and-run accident happened on the border of Detroit and Warren.
We're told a person riding a motorcycle was hit by another vehicle and killed. The driver of that other vehicle, police say, then fled the scene on foot. He was caught by Warren police a few blocks away.
Police say the area will be closed down for a good portion of the morning as they continue to investigate.
