15-year-old Detroit girl missing from home since Jan. 30

DETROIT (WXYZ) — Detroit police are asking for the public's help locating a missing teen last seen the afternoon of Jan. 30.

Nevaeh Young, 15, left her home in the 14600 block of Provost between noon and 1 p.m. Saturday. Her foster mother says she hasn't been seen or heard from since. This is the first time Young has ever gone missing.

The teen is described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall, weighs 160 pounds with a dark brown afro, is light completed, wears glasses and has brown eyes. Her last known outfit was not available.

Young uses daily medications, and her foster mother says she's concerned for her safety.
