Police arrest two men after they broke into a medical marijuana shot in Worth Township Sunday. Officers are still looking for a third suspect believed to be involved.

The break in happened at 3:35 a.m. at the Blue Water Compassion Medical Marijuana Center in the 6600 block of S. Lakeshore Road.

The two suspects – ages 25 and 20, both os Port Huron, – forced their way inside of a privacy fence to get into the shop. Deputies say a security guard on the scene chased down and detained the two men until police arrived.

Authorities say they have reason to believe the suspects were offered money from additional suspects in the Port Huron area to break into the facility to steal marijuana.

Officer say a third suspect accompanied the two arrested, but that suspect was able to get away.

The investigation is ongoing. The two arrested suspects are currently in Sanilac County Jail awaiting arraignment.

If you have information on the third suspect, please contact the Sanilac County Sheriff.
