Two people were injured in an apartment fire in Detroit overnight.

It happened at the corner of Junction Street and Plumer on the city's southwest side.

Firefighters pulled a woman out of the two-story building. She suffered smoke inhalation and is in critical condition.

A man was able to get out of the building on his own. We're told he was taken to the hospital as well.

Arson investigators are on scene. They say it looks like the fire started in the rear of the building.

No word yet on what sparked it.
